Things are still moving along. Still getting occasional editing work from that company I'd mentioned a few weeks ago. It's still very boring work, but it's extremely low-stress and very easy. So, I'll take it. Main problem is, they take their sweet time on paying. Never a good thing. Thankfully though, I got an unexpected residual check in the mail last week. Karroll's Christmas... not a great film, but it's truly the gift that keeps giving. That check really saved my ass.

Still finishing up the shorts. Probably about another week's work on them before the first series is done. We've posted one of the shorter ones on YouTube to try to get people to start knowing about us. Give it a watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wqz0YtSCetg

I really enjoyed the film - awesome! So simple to make, but so well-executed. And if Drew can keep breeding good child actors, you'll have a gold mine.

Thanks!

Yeah, I gotta get on that good child actor producing thing, because she's gonna be a natural. I suppose I could just ride on her coattails...

Thanks!

Er, I'm assuming you mean that as a compliment. Well, I'm gonna take it as one!

Yeah, it was meant as one. :D

I posted the link on my moms' board because I know there are few with twisted sense of humor like mine, and one was like, "That was funny! Oh, I hope they filmed the kid separately from the 'eating candy' part!" I said, "David's a pretty decent guy, so I don't think he'd traumatize his partner's kid unless there was a lot more money involved." :D

Well, it wouldn't take TOO much money... :D

Yes, we did film her separately; she wasn't around when we filmed the bunny stuff. But to be honest, she probably would have been fine with it. She's a strange kid. She's terrified of tigers, but absolutely loves monsters. This is the 3 year old who asked for Godzilla toys for Christmas!

Well, aside from being a nice guy and a friend, I think you're a talented guy, so I like to share your stuff.

I always enjoy our posts, because you write how you talk. Someone told me that about myself the other day and I was displeased because they paused and addded: "...DRA-matic!", so hopefully this isn't a backhanded compliment. Looks creepy, but I have no sound here at school, so I'll have to check it out later.

I want more killer chickens!
